Evaluasi Kerusakan Jalan Bangau Sakti Kota Pekanbaru Dengan Metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI)

Bangau Sakti Pekanbaru City`s road can be classified with its function as a local road. Local roads are roads that serve local transportation with the characteristics of short distance travel, low average speed and unlimited number of entrances. Bangau Sakti Pekanbaru City`s road is 2,600 meters long and 5 meters wide. The aim of this research is to determine the types of damage and determine the index value of the flexible pavement condition on Bangau Sakti, Pekanbaru city`s road, using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. The research was carried out into 5 segments with a size of 520 meters per segment. The results of the analysis show that damage to Bangau Sakti, Pekanbaru City`s road includes holes, loose grains, crocodile skin cracks, fillings, transverse cracks, longitudinal cracks, winding cracks, overweight, diagonal cracks. The average index value for Bangau Sakti, Pekanbaru city`s road is 38, with poor condition, so it needs serious treatment from the government to immediately carry out repairs so that the damage does not get worse.
