Premi Asuransi Kesehatan Menggunakan Distribusi Erlang Truncated Exponential

Health insurance is one type products that specifically guarantees the cost of he- alth insurance or care when participants experience health problems that caused hospitalized. This final project discusses the premium of healthy insurance of the Erlang Truncated Exponential distribution. The parameters in the Erlang Truncated Exponential distribution are estimated using maximum likelihood estimation and then determined by a Newton-Raphson iteration method. The calculations carried out are by first determining the annuity, single premium, and annual premium based on the Erlang Truncated Exponential distribution in advance. Morever, single premium is used in determining the premium and the cash value of the m times annuity payments per year is used the Erlang Trun- cated Exponential distribution. Based on the results of the case study taken from the single net premium thesis, it shows that the more benefits obtained, the greater the premium paid. Furthermore, the annual premium which cha- nges every year shows that the older the policy holder, the greater the premium paid.
