Optimisasi Masalah Pemotongan Stok 2-Dimensi Menggunakan Metode Pembangkit Pola
This final project discusses the pattern generation method to solve the cut- ting stock problem with a 2-dimensional size. The pattern generation method produces a feasible cutting pattern which is then converted to a linear program- ming model with an objective function to minimum the use of stock materials. The research was conducted at Handal Karya Buana company which is a glass cutting company with various sizes, thicknesses and types of glass. By using pattern generation method, 10 cutting patterns are produced with each different leftover cutting. Then by using simplex method, the optimal solution is obta- ined for the amount of initial stock needed, the pattern used and the leftover cutting produced. So, the pattern generation method can produce a feasible cutting pattern and can be used as an alternative to solve the cutting stock problem.
