Penerapan Invers Matriks Interval Pada Bidang Kesehatan
The topic of interval numbers is growing quite fast. There are many researchers who have discussed the arithmetic of interval numbers. However, the multipli- cation operation defined by some researchers does not produce an identity when an interval number is multiplied by its inverse, so in this study a modification is needed for the arithmetic of interval numbers, especially in the multiplica- tion operation of two interval numbers so that the multiplication of an interval number with its inverse produces an identity. Interval numbers are obtained by taking the minimum value as the lower limit and the maximum value as the upper limit so that it can be formed into an interval matrix. An interval matrix is a matrix whose entries are interval numbers. By using modified elementary row operations, the inverse of an interval matrix is obtained, so that it can be applied to the health field, namely the percentage of the population who have BPJS PBI, BPJS NON-PBI, and JAMKESDA health insurance obtained from the Riau Province Statistics Agency. Then the inverse of the interval ma- trix is used in the linear equation AX = b to predict the percentage of health insurance data in the following year. The prediction results obtained can be used by decision makers, for example, to find out how much capacity a server must provide in the health insurance system so that the capacity provided is sufficient.
