Pengembangan Modul Ajar Berbasis Problem Based Learning Memfasilitasi Kecakapan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis
This research is motivated by the limited availability of teaching modules as a supporting tool for learning in the Merdeka curriculum. The research objective is to produce a teaching module on the topic of linear equations and inequalities with one variable using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model that meets valid and practical criteria to facilitate students' mathematical problem-solving skills. The teaching module with the PBL model on the topic of linear equations and inequalities in Phase-D was developed using the 4-D development model. The research instruments used include validation instruments in the form of validation sheets to assess the feasibility of the teaching module in the sections of identity and general information, core components, and appendices. Practicality instruments include a practicality response questionnaire for teachers to assess the practicality of the teaching module and a practicality response questionnaire for students to assess the practicality of the worksheet The validation results from experts state that the developed product falls into the highly valid category, with average ratings for the identity and general information section at 3.74, the core component section at 3.73, and the appendix section at 3.75. The teaching module is also considered very practical, with an average rating for teacher practicality at 3.62. In the small group trial, the average student response was 3.61, and in the large group trial, the average student response was 3.50, both categorized as very practical. The developed learning product is validated and revised through small and large-group trials, resulting in a highly valid product suitable as a reference for teachers in developing teaching modules for classroom teaching activities.
