Pengembangan Modul Ajar Berbasis Problem Based Learning Konten Pola Bilangan Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik Kelas VIII
The independent curriculum requires students to have mathematical problem solving abilities (KPMM) as a skill needed to overcome the situations they face. The aim of this research is to create a teaching module that addresses students' low KPMM, particularly their lack of understanding of basic mathematical concepts, difficulty in understanding problems, and inability to apply appropriate formulas. As a result, students tend to only rely on memorizing the formulas given, without truly understanding the systematic concepts that underlie the learning process. KPMM can be fostered through the integration of experiential learning, namely by providing opportunities for students to overcome authentic obstacles. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is a learning strategy offered in the independent curriculum. Effective implementation of PBL requires the use of appropriate teaching modules. Therefore, this research aims to produce a product in the form of a PBL-based number pattern content teaching module to facilitate valid and practical KPMM for phase d students. The ADDIE research method consists of 5 stages, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The data research instruments used were validation sheets and practicality sheets with data analysis carried out namely validity and practicality analysis. The validation results of the teaching module content components, general information and module identity, core activities and attachments obtained an average of 3.47; 3.80; 3.73; and 3.55. The practicality results in the aspects of LKPD appearance, LKPD content/material and language obtained an average of 3.42; 3.23; and 3.40. The results of the development of the teaching module obtained an average of 3.65 with a very valid category, then a one to one trial was carried out, a small group test, and a large group test obtained an average of 3.35 with a very practical category.
