Studi Pengendalian Banjir Sungai Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
The Reteh River is one of the rivers in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, where during the rainy season, there is an increase in river discharge, so that river water overflows out of the river body. This overflow of water caused rice fields and residential areas to be flooded. To obtain flood discharge, several stages were carried out starting from rainfall consistency testing, frequency analysis to probability distribution testing using Chi-Square and Smirnov Kolmogorov with a 5-hour rainfall distribution using the Mononobe method. Analysis of calculations using the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph method, it is obtained that the planned flood discharge on the Reteh River for a 2 year return period is 13,244 m3/sec, a 10 year return period of 19,602 m3/sec and a 25 year return period of 21,793 m3/sec. From the hydraulics analysis carried out by simulation using HEC-RAS software version 5.1 with discharge values at the 2 year return period there was an overflow of 10 cm - 100 cm, at the 10 year return period the overflow occurred 20 cm - 120 cm and at the 25 year return period the overflow occurred with depth 20 cm – 150 cm in almost all cross sections. Handling in flood control is to normalize river banks by restoring the original shape of the river. The final result is that the Reteh River in Indragiri Hilir Regency no longer experiences flooding, namely by carrying out a HEC-RAS simulation with the planned cross section which is used as a reference for determining the planned flood depth.
