Sisingamangaraja XII airport is located in Tapanuli Utara, North Sumatra. This airport serves as the main gateway for tourists visiting Lake Toba. The increasing number of tourists visiting Lake Toba has led to a rise in the number of passengers at Bandar Udara Sisingamangaraja XII. In 2018, the airport handled 428,536 passengers, exceeding the existing passenger terminal capacity of 281,266 passengers per year. This indicates the need for a thorough assessment of the passenger terminal facilities. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of the existing passenger terminal and analyze the space requirements for the years 2023 to 2043. The research employs both simple and multiple linear regression methods, with passenger volume as the dependent variable and population size, economic growth, and the number of tourists in North Tapanuli Regency as independent variables. Based on the Initial Indication of Development, Utilization, and Groundside Airport Development (IAP4 land side) value of 1.06, which exceeds the critical value of 0.75, it is evident that the passenger terminal requires development. Regression analysis further reveals that the increase in tourists in North Tapanuli Regency significantly impacts the rise in passenger numbers at Bandar Udara Sisingamangaraja XII. The analysis results indicate that the estimated terminal area requirements for the 2024 plan are 11,513 m², and for 2043, they are 16,209 m².
