Analisis Perbandingan Pengumpulan Dan Pendistribusian Zakat Antara Baznas Kota Pekanbaru Dan Baznas Kota Dumai
Pekanbaru and Dumai City are two cities in Riau Province. Makroeconomically, these two cities have differences in per capita income, population, and Muslim population. while socially and economically, they have similarities in poverty percentages, per-capita spending, and the Human Development Index. (HDI). With this background arises a problem related to zakat, that is whether there is a difference in the size of zakat collection and distribution between the BAZNAS of the city of Pekanbaru and the BAZNAS of the city of Dumai. The method of analysis used in this study is non-parametric analysis with the Mann-Whitney one-tailed test to see if there is a difference in the average collection and distribution of zakat as well as the direction of its tendency, processed with IBM SPSS 23. The results of the study showed that at zakat collection, the size of the zakat collection in BAZNAS Pekanbaru City is greater than in BAZNAS Dumai City. Then, the distribution size in BAZNAS Pekanbaru city is larger than in BAZNAS Dumai city. The researchers also conducted interviews with BAZNAS Pekanbaru and Dumai, which revealed that each of them had advantages in terms of the collection and distribution of zakat. Later, the results of the research were linked to macroeconomic variables which resulted that poverty levels in Pekanbaru City and Dumai City had an inverse relationship with the collection and distribution of zakat in BAZNAS Pekanbaru City and BAZNAS Dumai City. However, the level of per capita income and the muslim population of Pekanbaru City and Dumai City have a direct relationship with the collection and distribution of zakat.
