Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV
This research aims to see the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students' reading comprehension abilities in elementary schools. This type of research is experimental with a quantitative approach and uses the Pre-Experimental Design method. The design in this research is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design because in this design the researcher takes two measurements, namely, before being treated (pre-test) and after being given treatment (post-test) to be able to determine the effect of the treatment. In this way, the results of the treatment can be known more accurately, because it is compared with the situation before the treatment was given. This study provides a pretest before receiving treatment and provides a posttest after receiving treatment. This research instrument consists of tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics, namely by calculating the mean. The results of this research indicate an increase in the use of the CIRC learning model on the reading comprehension abilities of grade IV elementary school students at SDN 014 Buluh Kasap. This is proven by the results of the mean calculation which shows that the average posttest score is higher than the pretest average.
