Analisis Nitrat, Fosfat Dan Kelimpahan Fitoplankton Terhadap Kesuburan Perairan Di Pangkalan Jambi Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
Ecosystem damage can be seen from the abundance and composition of phytoplankton, the presence of phytoplankton in a body of water can provide information about water conditions. Along with changes in time and the number of human activities such as shipping activities and industries that process plantation products such as rubber, oil palm and coconut. This will have an impact on the balance of the ecosystem around the waters. The purpose of the study was to determine the concentration of nitrate, phosphate and phytoplankton abundance in Jambi Waters, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this research is survey method. Determination of stations using purposive method by setting 4 stations that can describe the condition of Jambi Base Waters. Analysis of nitrate, phosphate and phytoplankton abundance was conducted at the Marine Chemistry Laboratory of Riau University. The results of the study are the concentration of nitrate and phosphate with phytoplankton abundance has a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.46 which indicates that the concentration of nitrate and phosphate has a moderate relationship to phytoplankton abundance. The concentration of nitrate and phosphate affects phytoplankton abundance by 3.8%.
