Hubungan Kandungan Nitrat Dan Fosfat Dengan Klorofil-A Di Perairan Teluk Bungus Padang
This study was carried out in April-June 2024 with the aim of determining the relationship between the contents of Nitrate, Phosphate and Chlorophyll-a in the waters of Bungus Bay. This research uses a survey method by determining sampling stations using purposive sampling consisting of three stations. To determine the relationship between Nitrate and Phosphate content and Chlorophyll-a, statistical correlation and multiple linear regression tests were carried out. The results show that the nitrate content in the waters of Bungus Bay has an average value of 0.86 mg/l and is included in the eutrophic category with a high level of water fertility. The phosphate content in the waters of Bungus Bay has an average value of 0.88 mg/l and is included in the eutrophic category with a high level of water fertility. The chlorophyll-a content in the waters of Bungus Bay has an average value of 2.20 μg/l and is included in the mesotrophic category with a medium fertility level and is starting to become polluted. The results of correlation and linear regression tests between Nitrate (x1) and Chlorophyll-a (Y) and Phosphate (X2) and Chlorophyll-a (Y) content have sig values > 0.05 (0.394 and 0.990) which indicates that there is no strong relationship between Nitrate with Chlorophyll-a and Phosphate with Chlorophyll-a. There is a weak relationship between Nitrate and Chlorophyll-a with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.325. There is a very weak relationship between Phosphate and Chlorophyll-a with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.005. The results of correlation and linear regression tests on the relationship between Nitrate and Chlorophyll-a and Phosphate and Chlorophyll-a are interpreted in the equations Y = 6.527 - 5.030(X1) and Y = 2.236 – 0.040(X2).
