This research has two objectives. The first objective is to determine the level of farmers' participation in agricultural extension activities in peatland management in Teluk Meranti Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency. The second objective is to analyze the factors influencing the level of farmers' participation in agricultural extension programs aimed at preventing forest and land fires in Teluk Meranti Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency. The research was conducted in Teluk Meranti Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency, from September 2023 to January 2024. The sample consisted of 43 farmers who are members of farmer groups and manage peatland. Each research objective was addressed using descriptive analysis, Likert scale, Method Successive Interval (MSI), and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS, supplemented with classic assumption tests (multicollinearity, autocorrelation, normality, heteroscedasticity), and hypothesis testing (F-test, T-test, R^2 test). The study reveals that farmers' participation in agricultural extension on peatland management in Teluk Meranti Village is generally at a good level, with an average score of 3.86. Factors influencing farmers' participation include age, education, farming experience, cosmopolitanism, land area, and interaction with extension workers, while knowledge about peatlands and interaction with the Fire Care Community (MPA) do not affect participation..
