Modifikasi Metode Iterasi Orde Empat Dan Enam Untuk Persamaan Nonlinear Dan Aspek Dinamiknya
This final project discusses two-step and three-step iteration methods for solving nonlinear equations. This method is obtained by adding Newton’s method as an additional step of Javidi’s method. Convergence analysis using Taylor expansion and geometric series shows that this iteration method has convergence order four and six with efficiency index 1.587 and 1.565. Numerical computation shows that the new method can be used as an alternative method for solving nonlinear equations. This final project also discusses the dynamic aspects of an iteration method for nonlinear equations that are presented in visual form.
