Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Perasan Buah Mengkudu (Morinda Citrifolia L.) Untuk Menghambat Pertumbuhan Jamur Fusarium Oxysporum Pada Tanaman Bawang Merah Secara In-Vitro
Fusarium wilt is a disease of shallot plants caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum. The symptoms of fusarium wilt disease are plants wilting more quickly, leaves twisting, plant roots rotting and whitish fungal colonies visible on the tubers. Fusarium wilt disease can cause a decrease in production, so appropriate and environmentally friendly control is needed. Noni fruit is known to inhibit the growth of plant pathogens. Noni fruit contains antifungal compounds, namely flavonoids, saponins, acetone and essential oils. This research aims to determine the effect of noni fruit juice as an antifungal against F. oxysporum in vitro and to obtain the best concentration in inhibiting the growth of the fungus F. oxysporum. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Bina Widya Campus km 12.5, Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out from April 2023 to July 2023. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications so that there were 20 experimental units. The treatment consisted of K0= 0% of noni fruit juice, K1= 4% of noni fruit juice, K2= 6% of noni fruit juice, K3= 8% of noni fruit juice. The results of the analysis of variance were continued with a further Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% level to compare the means between treatments. The research results showed that the percentage of inhibitory power of noni juice concentration on the better growth of F. oxysprorum is 8% (K3) with an inhibitory power of 4.82%, followed by concentrations of 6% (K2) and 4% (K1) with an inhibitory power of 3.76% and 3.45%.
