This final project discusses the solution of transshipment model for product
planning and distribution. The solution of this problem begins by converting
the capacitated transshipment problem to a transportation problem, then finding the initial basis using the Vogel’s approximation method. Then the optimality is tested using the modified distribution method. It can be concluded
that product distribution using the modified distribution method and computational experiments is the optimal solution with minimum cost for capacitated
transshipment problem. So, this method can be used as the alternative method
to solve the capacitated transshipment problems.
