Uji Konsentrasi Ekstrak Tepung Daun Krinyuh (Chromolaena Odorata L).Terhadap Mortalitas Ulat Grayak Jagung (Spodoptera Frugiperda J.E. Smith) Di Laboratorium

The research aims to determine the effective concentration of Chromolaena odorata L. leaf powder extract on the mortality of laboratory-reared fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda). The study was conducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Bina Widya Campus KM 12.5, Pekanbaru, from January to March 2024. The experiment followed a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments, each repeated 4 times, totaling 24 experimental units. Each unit consisted of 10 instar 3 larvae of S. frugiperda. The treatments included concentrations of Chromolaena odorata leaf powder extract as follows: A1: 0 g.l-1 water, A2: 20 g.l-1 water, A3: 40 g.l-1 water, A4: 60 g.l-1 water, A5: 80 g.l-1 water, A6: 100 g.l-1 water. Parameters observed were initial time of death, Lethal Time 50 (LT50), daily mortality, and total mortality. The results showed that the effective concentration of Chromolaena odorata leaf powder extract for controlling S. frugiperda was at 80 g.l-1 water, causing a total mortality of 80.00% with an initial time of death occurring at 29.50 hours after application and an LT50 of 72.50 hours after application.
