Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Selada (Lactuca Sativa L.) Yang Diaplikasikan Kompos Solid Dengan Pupuk Urea
Lettuce is one of the vegetable plants that contain water, energy, protein, fat, rich in carbohydrates, fiber, sugar, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, vitamin C, and several other vitamins. Solid is the waste from the by-products of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) processing in palm oil mills. Inorganic fertilizers are fertilizers resulting from chemical, physical and biological engineering processes and are the result of an industry or fertilizer manufacturing plant. The provision of solid compost with urea fertilizer is expected to complement each other's nutrient needs, where lettuce plants need nitrogen nutrients in the vegetative phase and protein formation in their tissues. The research aims to evaluate the effect of several doses of solid compost treatment with urea fertilizer and get the best combination of solid compost with urea fertilizer on the growth and production of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.). The research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with six fertilizer treatments. The treatments are = 30 t.ha-1 solid compost + 0 kg.ha-1 urea fertilizer, 30 t.ha-1 solid compost + 100 kg.ha-1 urea fertilizer, 30 t.ha-1 solid compost + 200 kg.ha-1 urea fertilizer, 20 t.ha-1 solid compost + 0 kg.ha-1 urea fertilizer, 20 t.ha-1 solid compost + 100 kg.ha-1 urea fertilizer, 20 t.ha-1 solid compost + 200 kg.ha-1 urea fertilizer. The results obtained were analyzed using variance analysis and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. Theapplication of 20 t -30 t.ha-1 solid compost with 200 kg.ha-1 ureafertilizer gives the best results on the growth and production of lettuce plants.
