Efesiensi Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (Ipal) Untuk Penilaian Kualitas Air Di Rsud Madani Kota Pekanbaru

This research aims to evaluate the efficiency of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at RSUD Madani in Pekanbaru City and assess the quality of treated wastewater based on the quality standards set by Kepmen LH No.5 of 2014. Hospital wastewater management is crucial as the waste produced contains hazardous substances that can negatively impact the environment and public health. The research method used is descriptive with a pretest and posttest design, where wastewater samples are taken from the WWTP reactor inlet and outlet to analyze NH3 content. The results show that the WWTP at RSUD Madani can treat wastewater to meet the established quality standards with a relatively high efficiency. This research is expected to serve as a guideline for hospitals in managing wastewater and provide input for the government to evaluate hospital wastewater management in Pekanbaru.
