Inventarisasi Pemetaan Titik Banjir Di Kecamatan Tuah Madani Kota Pekanbaru Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG)
This research aims to carry out a mapping analysis of flood points in the Tuah Madani District area using a Geographic Information System (GIS) with a focus on the 2023 rainy season. The increase in flood events is an important issue in the context of climate change and spatial planning. Mapping flood spots can provide information needed for disaster risk mitigation and infrastructure improvement. The research methodology involves collecting weather data, land elevation, river flow patterns and other spatial data. GIS analysis is used to map and analyze flood-prone points. Mapping is obtained by going directly to the field and recording locations that are indicative of flooding. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a better understanding of flood patterns in the Tuah Madani District area, as well as provide useful information for spatial planning and disaster management. In addition, this mapping can provide a basis for developing more effective early warning systems and disaster mitigation strategies.
