Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Film Kartun Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Narasi Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
This research aims to see the effect of using cartoon film media on improving the ability to write narratives in fifth grade elementary school. Cartoon film media can trigger children's creativity in learning to write narratives. In this research, audio-visual media is used in the form of animation. The film used in this research is the film Shaun The Sheep. Shaun the Sheep is a work that combines stop motion animation with wit and creativity. created by Nick Park in Great Britain. This film was produced by Aardman Animations and financed by Studio Canal and was released on March 5, 2007 – present. This research uses a one group pretest – posttest design. In this design, before being given treatment, the sample is first given an initial test (pretest) and at the end of the learning the sample is given a final test (posttest). Based on the results of the hypothesis test data analysis that the researcher carried out, using the Paired Sample T Test with the help of SPSS version 23, the results of the Paired Sample T Test obtained a significant value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < (α = 0.05), so Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that the use of cartoon film media is effective in improving the narrative writing abilities of fifth grade elementary school students. Based on this, the hypothesis in this research is declared accepted.
