Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Pada Toko Oleh-Oleh Di Kota Pekanbaru (Studi Kasus Di Arvi Oleh-Oleh Pekanbaru)
ABSTRACT
This research aims to be based on the problem formulation that has been described, so this research aims as follows, to find out the strategy for developing the Arvi souvenir shop business in Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach using SWOT analysis. Quantitative research methods are often called naturalistic research methods because the research is carried out in natural conditions (natural settings). The population in this study were all workers at the Arvi souvenir shop in Pekanbaru, totaling 4 people. The sample from this research is the entire population sampled, namely 4 people. The research was carried out for 2 months starting from February-March. The instruments used to analyze the development strategy of the Pekanbaru food souvenir industry use the IFAS matrix, EFAS matrix, SWOT diagram and SWOT matrix analysis. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the food souvenir industry in Pekanbaru is in quadrant I supporting aggressive policies with the SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy.
