PENGARUH TATA KELOLA PERUSAHAAN DAN DEWAN DIREKSI TERHADAP FILANTROPI PERUSAHAAN

This study aims to determine the influence of corporate governance and the
board of directors on the philanthropy of companies in the industrial sector listed on
the IDX in 2014-2022. The dependent variable, namely corporate philanthropy, is
measured using the total philanthropic costs financed by the company, the independent
variable, namely corporate governance, is measured by if the company implements
corporate governance using ASEAN measurements, which includes the total final
score of Level 1 and Level 2 of the Board of Directors variables measured by the size
of the Board of Directors and the gender of the Board of Directors. The control
variables used are company size, current ratio, and quick ratio. The sampling
technique used purposive sampling and was obtained from 14 companies. This study
uses quantitative data and the analysis method used is descriptive analysis. The
research method uses regression analysis using the STATA application. The results of
this study show that corporate governance has a positive effect on corporate
philanthropy, while the size of the board of directors has a non-significant positive
effect on corporate philanthropy and the gender of the board of directors has a
negative effect on corporate philanthropy
