Analisis Dampak Abrasi Terhadap Kawasan Ekowisata Pantai di Kecamatan Lengayang Pesisir Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Barat
This study was carried out in February-April 2024 in Lengayang District, West Sumatra Province, with the aim of determining the rate of erosion and its impact on coastal ecotourism areas. Primary research data was obtained through ground checks in a number of coastal ecotourism areas in the form of documentation and interviews. Secondary data was obtained through literature studies and satellite image data processing using DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) with the End Point Rate (EPR) approach to determine the level and rate of shoreline change. Research data is presented in the form of map images and processed using ArcGIS 10.4.1 software. Analysis of shoreline changes was carried out by calculating the average rate and distance of shoreline changes in Ms. Excel. The results show that the wave height in coastal waters ranges from 0.10 to 0.30 meters with current speeds ranging from 0.19 to 0.29 m/second. Changes in the coastline at the research location experienced abrasion of ± 2.96 m2 to ± 57.87 m2 with a heavy abrasion rate of ± 5.40 m2/year and accretion of ± 2.02 m2 to ± 12.10 m2. Abrasion results in a reduction in the area of ecotourism areas as well as damage to facilities and infrastructure, reducing visitor capacity and having an impact on the domicile area of community.
