Analisis Hubungan Bahan Organik Total Sedimen Dengan Kelimpahan Kepiting Uca spp. Pada Zona Intertidal Desa Concong Dalam Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This research was conducted in January-February 2024 in Concong Dalam Village, Concong District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to determine the total sediment organic matter content, types of Uca spp. crabs, abundance of Uca spp. crabs, and the relationship between total sediment organic matter content and abundance of Uca spp. crabs. The method used in this research is the survey method. Determination of stations in this study using purposive sampling technique. This study includes 4 observation stations with each station set 3 line transects. The results of the calculation of the total organic matter content of the sediment ranged from 8.56-12.35%. The types of Uca spp crabs obtained consisted of 6 (six) species, namely U. dussumieri, U. coarctata, U. coarctata flamula, U. forcipata, U. rosea, U. arcuata. The abundance of Uca spp. crabs ranged from 6.37-8.89 ind/m^2. The relationship between the total sediment organic matter content and the abundance of Uca spp crabs obtained the equation Y= 1.3542 + 0.5962x, has a positive relationship with the correlation coefficient (r)= 0.4052, the higher the organic matter, the higher the abundance of Uca spp. crabs.
