Analysis Of Perception And Knowledge Of Micro Small And Medium Enterprises In Pekanbaru City On The Rupiah Redenomination Plan
This thesis aims to analyze the perception and knowledge of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekanbaru City regarding the rupiah redenomination plan. This research uses a quantitative approach by using Chi-Square Crosstab technique to analyze data collected from 100 respondents. The results show that there are significant differences in the perceptions of MSME actors regarding the benefits and impacts of the redenomination policy plan. Specifically, there are significant differences in perceptions regarding the objectives of the redenomination policy plan to improve economic stability and accelerate economic growth, as well as the benefits and impacts of the redenomination policy plan. There is an insignificant difference in the perceptions of MSME actors on the purpose of the redenomination policy plan to improve economic stability and that there will be no social conflict due to distrust of the redenomination policy. In addition, there is a significant difference in MSMEs' knowledge of the redenomination policy plan. This study contributes to the understanding of the impact of redenomination on MSMEs and provides insights for policymakers and academics. The findings of this study suggest that the redenomination plan can have a positive impact on MSMEs, especially in terms of improving economic stability and accelerating economic growth. However, this study also highlights the need for further research to address the limitations and challenges associated with the implementation of the redenomination plan.
