Pemberian Kompos Solid, Pupuk NPK dan Pupuk Hayati yang diperkaya dengan Mucuna bracteata terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annuum L.)
creasing red chili productivity can be done by fertilizing. The use of inorganic fertilizers for a relatively long time can cause a decrease in soil fertility and reduced organic matter content. Therefore, the use of solid compost and biofertilizers enriched with Mucuna bracteata can be used to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This research aims to increase the growth and production of red chili plants by providing solid compost, NPK fertilizer and biological fertilizer enriched with Mucuna bracteata, as well as determining the best fertilizer dose to reduce the NPK fertilizer dose. This research was carried out in Ridan Permai Village, Bangkinang Kota District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province from August 2023 to January 2024. The research was carried out using a Completely Ramdomized Design (CRD) with 8 treatments and 3 replications to obtain 24 experimental units. Providing treatment with a dose of 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer (5% Mucuna bracteata) resulted in good growth and production from the use of 100% NPK fertilizer + solid compost. Providing 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer (10% Mucuna bracteata) can reduce the use of NPK fertilizer by 25%.
