Analisis Perancangan Tata Letak Fasilitas Produksi Dengan Metode Systematic Layout Planning (Slp) Dan 5s Untuk Meningkatkan Produktivitas (Studi Kasus : Cv. Musbar Mie)
ABSTRACT
CV. Musbar Mie is a food industry company located on Jl. Arifin Ahmad Gang Pelangi, focusing on the production of fresh noodles and raw noodles for chicken noodles, with a daily capacity of 700 kg. This study uses the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method to analyze the production facility layout and recommends the implementation of the 5S method to improve work productivity. The initial layout analysis revealed inefficiencies in the production flow, such as long material travel distances and suboptimal relationships between workstations, with travel distances of 51.71 meters for fresh noodles and 35.67 meters for chicken noodles. To address these issues, five alternative layouts were developed using the Blocplan application, and the two best alternatives were further analyzed. Layout alternative 1 reduced the travel distance to 37.12 meters for fresh noodles and 26.03 meters for chicken noodles, making it the most feasible layout with a straight line process flow pattern. Additionally, the implementation of the 5S method is recommended to improve cleanliness, orderliness, and work efficiency. This method is expected to optimize equipment usage, accelerate the production process, reduce wasted time, and increase employee discipline and motivation. Therefore, the 5S method can support improved productivity and production quality at CV. Musbar Mie.
