Analisis Pengaruh Parameter P-Faktor Dan Hfaktor Terhadap Viskositas Dalam Proses Produksi Dissolving Pulp
ABSTRACT
The use of steam time and temperature during the preheating and prehydrolysis
stages, as well as heating in the cooking process, has a significant impact on the
final quality of dissolving pulp (AE). These two parameters result in P-Factors
and H-Factors, which are important indicators in determining the quality of
dissolving pulp (AE). Understanding the effect of P-Factor and H-Factor levels
will help in setting optimal setpoints to achieve the desired quality, i.e. viscosity.
This study aims to explore the influence of P-Factor and H-Factor levels that
contribute significantly to viscosity. Data was collected through Super Batch
Administrator (SBA) and PI Data Link, with analysis using R-Studio. The
statistical analysis methods applied in this study were two-way ANOVA and
multiple linear regression analysis to show the relationship between P-Factor and
H-Factor on viscosity. The significance test of P-Factor level 710 to 751 shows
that the range significantly reduces viscosity. Meanwhile, the significance test of
the H-Factor level of 249 to 299 shows that the range does not contribute to
reducing viscosity. The optimization test on the P-Factor and H-Factor levels
showed that the optimum point for P-Factor was 725.6786 and for H-Factor was
276.2179. The combination of these two levels resulted in a viscosity of 723.3339
dm³/kg, within the range required to avoid a viscosity drop of 620 - 730 dm³/kg.
