Produktivitas Dan Kelayakan Usaha Perikanan Tangkap Bubu Lipat Di Kelurahan Patam Lestari Kecamatan Sekupang Kota Batam
This study analyzed the productivity and business feasibility of folding bubu capture fisheries in Patam Lestari Village, Batam. Data were obtained through surveys and interviews with fishermen related to the number of catches, operational costs, and productivity factors. The results showed that the highest productivity per trip reached 7 kg, while the efficiency per gear was higher for fishermen with a smaller number of folding bubu gear. Financial analysis showed the business was viable with BCR > 1, positive FRR, and fast PPC indicating a short payback. Nonetheless, challenges such as pollution and habitat degradation affect fishers' catch and income. Therefore, better management and sustainable fisheries practices are required to maintain the viability of this enterprise.
