Pemetaan Potensi Air Bawah Tanah Dengan Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Konfigurasi Schlumberger Dan Geokimia Di Kelurahan Rintis Kecamatan Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru
Groundwater is an essential resource for the community in Lima Puluh District, Pekanbaru City. The majority of the population still relies on bore wells and dug wells. However, the quality and distribution of groundwater have not been fully understood from a scientific perspective. This study aims to analyze groundwater potential based on subsurface resistivity using the Schlumberger configuration geoelectrical method, as well as to map groundwater quality based on potential of Hydrogen (pH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS,) conductivity, and turbidity parameters. The geoelectrical method was conducted along two survey lines, each 100 meters in length, and processed using IP2WIN software to obtain a subsurface lithology model. Geochemical data were collected from ten groundwater sample points and analyzed using physical and chemical water quality parameters. The interpretation results indicate that potential groundwater is found at depths ranging from 1.75 to 12.9 meters, with dominant lithology consisting of sandy silt and gravelly sand. The resistivity values of the groundwater-bearing layers range from 3.65 to 144 Ωm. The geochemical analysis showed that pH values ranged from 4.11 to 7.5, with an average of 6.01; TDS values from 9 to 244 mg/L; conductivity from 186 to 486 µS/cm; and turbidity from 0.01 to 2.51 Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU). Most water samples were within the acceptable limits for drinking water standards, except for a few points with low pH levels. These findings indicate that geoelectrical and geochemical methods complement each other in mapping the location and quality of groundwater. The study area has groundwater potential that is feasible for sustainable utilization with
