Strategi Komunikasi Pariwisata Pengelola Dalam Pengembangan Wisata Inhu Park Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
tourism is a sector that has great potential in improving the regional economy, including in Indragiri Hulu Regency. Inhu Park as one of the tourist destinations in the area has its own appeal, Inhu Park is one of the tourist destinations that has great potential to be developed, both in terms of natural beauty, facilities, and socio-cultural attractions. This study aims to Analyze the Communication Strategy used by managers in Developing Inhu Park Tourism in Indragiri Hulu. This study discusses in depth the Communication Strategy implemented by the management in an effort to develop the Inhu Park tourist attraction, which is located in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau. However, the development of a tourist attraction does not only depend on physical potential alone, but is also greatly determined by the effectiveness of communication carried out by the management to various parties involved, including local communities, visitors, government agencies, and other partners.
The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were managers, employees, parking attendants, local people and visitors based on purposive techniques. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. In addition, data validity checking techniques, and using triangulation of sources and methods.
The research results show that the tourism communication strategy implemented by the management of Inhu Park in Indragiri Hulu plays an important role in the development process of this tourist destination. This strategy is carried out through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the management designated social media as the primary channel for communication and promotion. This choice was based on the high usage of social media among the public, especially the younger generation, making it an effective tool to convey information and attract tourists. During the implementation stage, the communication strategy was actively carried out through various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The management routinely creates and shares engaging visual content in the form of photos, videos, and information about ongoing activities at Inhu Park. In the evaluation stage, improving and adjusting tourist facilities was identified as a crucial aspect that must continuously be done to meet the needs and comfort of visitors. With a well-planned communication strategy, consistent implementation, and responsive evaluation, Inhu Park has successfully built a positive image as an attractive, educational family tourist destination that continues to develop in Indragiri Hulu Regency.
