Pengembangan Modul Ajar Berbasis Problem Based Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Fase D
Abstract: This study aims to produce a valid and practical Problem Based Learning (PBL) module to facilitate the mathematical problem-solving ability of phase D students on the topic of curved-surface solid shapes. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research instruments consisted of expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Data collection was conducted through validation by experts and a limited trial involving 12 ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Tualang. The expert validation results showed that the teaching module was highly valid, with an average percentage of 93.43%. Meanwhile, the practicality questionnaire results from the small group trial indicated that the Student Activity Sheet (LAS) was highly practical, with an average percentage of 88.65%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed teaching module meets the criteria of validity and practicality, making it suitable as an alternative teaching resource for the topic of curved-surface solid shapes.
