This study aims to describe the professional competence of teachers in PPKn
learning at Elementary School Rayon II, Mandau District. The type of research
uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The instrument used in
this study is a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded
that the professional competence of teachers in PPKn learning at Elementary
School Rayon II, Mandau District is classified as "very good" and has met the
criteria for professional competence of teachers in PPKn learning in accordance
with Permendiknas no. 16 of 2007 concerning teacher professional competence
standards. From the results of the calculation of the questionnaire scores
consisting of 5 indicators, namely: (1) mastering the material, structure, concepts,
and scientific mindsets that support the subjects taught is classified as very good
with an average score of 86.5%. (2) mastering the competency standards and basic
competencies of the subjects taught is classified as very good with an average
score of 89.66%. (3) developing learning materials taught creatively is classified
as very good with an average score of 82.7%. (4) developing professionalism in a
sustainable manner by carrying out reflective actions is classified as good with an
average score of 79.44%. (5) utilizing information and communication technology
to develop oneself is classified as good with an average score of 79.62%.
