This study aims to determine the differences in learning discipline between male and female students in the high grade of Elementary School 42 Pekanbaru. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of low student discipline in schools and the tendency that female students have a higher level of discipline than male students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The research sample consisted of 78 students consisting of 39 male students and 39 female students who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument was a Likert Scale questionnaire that measured five indicators of learning discipline, namely: discipline when entering school, when attending lessons, when doing assignments, when studying at home, and when obeying school rules. The results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney U test showed that there was a significant difference between the learning discipline of male and female students with a significance value of 0.001
