This research aims to determine the sex knowledge ability of children aged 5-6
years before and after being given SEEDU application treatment at Pembina State
Kindergarten 3 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with
a pre-experimental model research design one group pretest posttest design. The
research population is 15 children aged 5-6 years in the Pekanbaru State
Kindergarten, the sample used is all children, namely 15 children of Kindergarten
B1. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, researchers
concluded that children's sex knowledge before treatment with a percentage of
37.92% then given treatment (treatment) increased with a percentage of 83.33%.
The data collection technique carried out is pre-experiment with prettest design
design-posttest only control group design the researcher gives a pretest or initial
test to the object being studied to determine the ability of sex knowledge. Data
analysis using uj t-test. The research results show that there is an increase in sex
knowledge seen from the average score obtained before and after treatment. The
results of the data analysis obtained in the count of 29,281, which is greater than
the table of 1,761 from this study, it can be concluded that the SEEDU application
has an effect on the knowledge of sex education of children aged 5-6 years in the
State Kindergarten of the 3 Pekanbaru. It can be concluded that in this study, there
is an effect of the SEEDU application before and after on the sexual knowledge of
5-6-year-old children at Pembina State Kindergarten 3 Pekanbaru.
