This study aims to analyse the effect of school environment on interest in learning social studies subjects of MTs Ibnu Katsir Pekanbaru students. The research sample amounted to 90 students. The technique used for sampling is probability sampling, namely proportionate stratified random sampling. Research data obtained through the distribution of questionnaire sheets consisting of 35 statements. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the school environment affects the interest in learning social studies subjects of MTs Ibnu Katsir Pekanbaru students. The contribution of the influence of school environment variables on the variable interest in learning is 44.5%.
