This research is motivated by the use of the Project Citizen learning method and the learning motivation of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research questions in this study are: How effective is the implementation of the Project Citizen learning method for Grade X at SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency? How strong is the learning motivation of Grade X students at the same school? And, is there any influence of the Project Citizen learning method on the learning motivation of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency? The theoretical benefit of this research is to provide insights into the Project Citizen learning method and its influence on students' learning motivation. It is expected to serve as a basis for further discussion and studies on the relationship between the Project Citizen method and students' learning motivation, particularly in the subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn). The practical benefit is that this study can be used as a reference to develop students’ learning motivation through the Project Citizen learning method. It may also provide SMA Negeri 1 Gaung with a better understanding of how to use the Project Citizen method to enhance students’ learning motivation. Additionally, for the field of PPKn, this research can serve as a reference for future writings and studies.
The research method used in this study is a type of pre-experimental design, specifically the one-shot case study. The one-shot case study is a research design that involves only one experimental group, conducted without a comparison group and without a pre-test. The population in this study includes all students of SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 458 students. The sample in this study consists of students from class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2, totaling 67 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling.

Based on the results of the research titled "The Influence of the Project Citizen Learning Method on the Learning Motivation of Grade X Students at SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency", the findings are as follows: According to the predetermined categories, it can be stated that the learning motivation of students at SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency after being treated with the Project Citizen method falls into the "good" category, with a percentage of 71.4%. Based on the calculation of the Independent Sample T-Test shown in Table 4.28, the result is tₕ = 16.658. The degrees of freedom (df) are determined using the formula n - 2. With a sample size of 67 students, the df is 67 – 2 = 65. At a 5% significance level and df = 65, the critical t-value (tₜ) is 1.668. This indicates that the hypothesis of this study is accepted, as tₕ > tₜ (Ha is accepted and H₀ is rejected). Therefore, it can be concluded that the Project Citizen learning model (PC) has a significant influence on students' learning motivation in the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) subject for Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency.
