Rekayasa proses bisnis penerimaan zakat pada Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (baznas) Provinsi Riau
The National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Riau Province is an independent institution located in Riau Province that manages zakat, infaq, and alms funds. This study aims to redesign the business process flow of zakat collection at BAZNAS Riau Province to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality for the muzaki (zakat). Based on observations, the current business process still faces several challenges such as limited digital service implementation, lack of system integration, and disorganized process flows that negatively impact the user experience, particularly in online zakat payments. The method used in this research is the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) approach through As-Is and To-Be analysis, which aims to simplify existing processes. The modeling technique used is Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to visualize both the current and redesigned business processes. Data was collected through interviews regarding operational processes in the zakat collection division. The results show that the newly designed business process flow, covering both offline and online zakat collection, can streamline workflows and improve the accuracy of records as well as services provided to muzaki.
