Pengaruh komunikasi persuasif dalam kampanye stunting oleh pemerintah kelurahan duri barat kabupaten bengkalis terhadap perubahan perilaku pencegahan stunting
The problem of stunting remains a critical issue in public health development, particularly in early childhood. The Duri Barat Village Government of Bengkalis Regency has implemented a stunting prevention campaign as a strategic effort to raise parental awareness. This study aims to analyze the extent to which persuasive communication within the campaign influences changes in stunting prevention behavior among the community, particularly parents of toddlers.
This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method using a Likert-based questionnaire with a 1–5 scale. A sample of 88 respondents, parents or guardians of toddlers, were determined using Slovin’s formula and selected through random sampling. Theindependent variable was persuasivecommunication, which consists of five indicators according to Joseph De Vito: attention, need, satisfaction, visualization, and action. The dependent variable was behavior change, consisting of knowledge, attitude, and practice indicators based on Bloom's taxonomy. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression.
