Keterlibatan Amerika Serikat Dalam Konflik Etnis Di Irak Pasca Rezim Saddam Husein (2003-2010)
This research focused on the U.S Role in Iraq Ethnic Conflict after Saddam Husein Regime. The United States bequeathed conflict between Sunni, Syiah and Kurds, who constantly rip the life of the Iraqi people.
This research used qualitative method. Data in this research is taken from book, mass media and website. This research used Neorealisme perspective and Foreign policy theory by K.J Holsti. The United States foreign policy in Iraq is get the oil resources since 2003. Because of the oil, the United States want to continue its hegemony in Iraq by making the Ethnic Conflict in Iraq after Saddam Husein Rezim.
Scenario of the future of Iraq will be a three-state "mini" which is divided into Shiite areas in the south, Sunnis in the center, and the Kurds in the north. The U.S. continues to push the conflict into latent or permanent.
One of U.S involvement is through Central Intelligency Agency agents infiltrating the Sunni group, which is a bomb attack against Shiite centers, which caused many casualties against the Shiites. Later, Prime Minister Ali Nur Maliki, who long lived in the U.S., and being "guided" the Central Intelligency Agency, reply to Sunni groups, combing Sunni populated areas by using military forces, and killed so many of the Sunni and the characters.
This research found the answer that The United States has a big role in ethnic conflict in iraq after Saddam Husein regime for their national interest.
