Dampak Penambangan Batubara Terhadap Sosial Dan Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Petai Kecamatan Singingi Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This research was conducted in Petai Village Singingi Hilir Sub-district Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of coal mining on social and economy community Petai Village Singingi Hilir sub District Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data used in this research is the primary data and secondary data, data analysis used is descriptive qualitative data analysis. Qualitative descriptive method is the facts obtained in the field analyzed by associating with the relevant theories in accordance with the characteristics of existing data. In this study the population is the entire head of the existing family in the Village of Petai Singingi Hilir sub-district, especially the family in the dusun baru 124 Head of the Family. Sampling technique is Random Sampling where the number of samples taken is 89 Head of Family. The results showed that the coal mining activities of Petai Village have a positive impact and negative impact on social and economic society. a positive impact appears on the social and economic variable of labor absorption and income. While the negative impact appears on the social economy variables of health, environment and comfort. the future is expected from the company to pay attention and keep the environment, and immediately do reclamation and from government side should be able to limit excessive exploitation by company
