Penggunaan Jenis Pelarut Berbeda Pada Ekstraksi Minyak Kepala Ikan Lele Dumbo (Clarias Gariepinus)
This study aims to determine the effect of different types of solvent on the extraction of dumbo catfish head (Clarias gariepinus) and the amount of extracted fatty acids. The study was used is the experimental method, with Completely Randomized Design (RAL) was consisted of 3 treatment levels ie X1 (Methanol), X2 (Ethanol) and X3 (Propanol). The study was consisted of 3 stages: Preparation of dumbo catfish head flour (Clarias gariepinus), oil extraction from dumbo catfish head flour (Clarias gariepinus), and identification of fatty acid content. The results showed that different solvent treatments had a very significant effect on the yield of X1 oil extract (22.24mg), X2 (24.25mg) and X3 (18,43mg). Different solvent treatments obtained different amounts of fatty acids, X1 (68.26%), X2 (62.89%) and X3 (66.97%).
