Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Kasar Melalui Permainan Tradisional Engklek Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Sari Bunda Al-Gafur Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan
Abstract: This research motivated by children’s gross motor skill in TK Sari Bunda Al-Gafur of Bunut Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency that have not develop optimally. This research aimed to increase the gross motor skill of children age 5-6 years through traditional games “engklek” in TK Sari Bunda Al-Gafur, and to know the amount of children’s gross motor skill enhancement. The subject of this research are 15 children in Group B1 of TK Sari Bunda Al-Gafur among them 8 daughter and 7 son. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research that have 2 cycle, and in each cycle consists of 4 stage namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. This research used observation as the data retrieval techniques. Based on the data analysis, known that the average of children’s gross motor skill before the Cycle is 42.33% with “Begin to Develop” criteria. After Cycle I of traditional games “engklek”, the children’s skill increase until 50.22% with “Developed According to Expectation” criteria, while the average of Cycle II is 76.89% with “Developed-Very Well” criteria. It means that traditional games “engklek” can increasing the ability of gross motor skill for children age 5-6 years in TK Sari Bunda Al-Gafur of Bunut Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency.
