Abstract:Rima Lestari, NIM. 1305188006.Improving Reading Capability of Beginning Through Media Planel Board At 5-6 Year Old Child In Kasih Ibu Kindergarten Kecamatan Batu Hampar Rokan Hilir 2017. Child 5-6 years old in Tk Kasih Ibu Kecamatan Batu Hampar Rokan Hilir especially in group B, Some of 12 children only 4 children who have started to recognize letters, most others have not been able to mention the letter correctly, it is difficult to distinguish letters for exampled and b and thanw and m, some children do not recognize the sound of the initial letter of the names of objects For example "ba" for "my" shirts for horse words Some children have not been able to say the sound of certain letters such as the letter r so l, f so p, m so n, and some children have been able to write their full name but can not Mention theletters. Therefore, need a way to improve the ability to read the beginning in kindergarten Kasih. The purpose of this research is to know the increase of reading ability Starting through planel board in children aged 5-6 years in Kasih Ibu Kindergarten, to know how to apply plenel board in improving reading ability of children at age 5-6 years in kindergarten Kasih Ibu, to know the magnitude of the increase in the ability to read the beginning through the planel board on children aged 5-6 years in Kasih Ibukindergarten. Based on the results of the process assessment analysis of 2 cycles occurred an increase that is the first cycle average value of 43.86%, cycle II average value 69.33% than before the action was given 36.11%. From the results of this study can be concluded that with the media board planel can improve the ability to read the beginning of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kasih Ibu Batu Hampar. It means that through a planel board with planned and sustainable activities can improve the ability to read the beginning of children aged 5-6 years.
