Pengetahuan Kader Tentang Penyakit TB Paru Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Alai Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
Tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The ontrol of tuberculosis in the first stratum is held by puskesmas, strategy focused on the discovery and healing of TB patients. The discovery of TB patients by puskesmas officers involves various parties of one cadre, so the knowledge of cadres about tuberculosis is the most important thing in TB case finding. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of cadres in the effort to control pulmonary TB disease. This research uses descriptive research type with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in the working area of local clinic of Alai Meranti Island regency. The sample is 56 people with total sampling technique. The Characteristics of cadres are mostly in the range of 36-45 as many as 30 people (53.6%), female cadres are 56 people (100.0%), cadre education is mostly high school / vocational high school as many as 34 people (60,7%) and cadres’ work mostly do not work or housewife counted 37 people (66,1%). The result showed that the respondents have a good knowledge level of 37 people (66.1%).
