ABSTRACT
This final project discusses the variational iteration method to solve a second
order of nonlinear differential equations with boundary conditions. The proposed
theory uses a correction function to obtain an approximation form, as
a dual convergent series solution. The proposed technique is applied to solve
problems in the heat transfer problem, the diffusion-reaction problem and the
reactive transport problem.
