Analisis Permintaan Roti Kering Di Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to analyze demand for ring cakes in Rengat Sub-District
Indragiri Hulu regency. The population in this study all residents in Kecamtan Rengat
and samples of 100 respondents determined by the formula slovin. The data used are
secondary data and primary data obtained from BPS, Industry and Trade Office of
Indragiri Hulu Regency and questionnaires. The method used is descriptive analysis by
using Likert scale using continuum line to classify the measured variable in order to
avoid errors in determining the results data. The results of this study indicate that the
variable price of goods itself, other goods price variables, variables tastes, location
variables, seasonal variables, promotion variables are demand factors of ring cake in
Rengat Sub-district. The price variable of the goods it self and other goods price
variables are very much in line with the consumer demand for the ring cake home
industry in Rengat Sub-district. While the variables of taste, location, season, promotion
that is in accordance with consumer demand will be the ring cake home industry in
Rengat sub-district. To the ring cake entrepreneurs in order to maintain the price,
increase the variety of flavors and packaging and expand the promotion.the ring cake
businessman is expected to be able to mantain price, increasethe variety of flavors, and
packaging and expand promotion so that the number of requests continues to increase
