This research was conducted in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how to increase the demand for woodcraft creative industries in Kuantan Singingi district by using Porter analysis and to find out what factors influence the development of woodcrafts creative business development in Kuantan Singing regency viewed from internal and external variables that affect the development of Creative industries Wood Crafts in Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research uses census sampling technique. The sample in this study were all wood craftsmen in Kuantan Singingi Regency, which amounted to 7 creative industries of wood crafts. The data in this study are primary data. Data were collected using a questionnaire that was distributed directly to respondents. Data processing using Porter analysis and using the SWOT analysis method. The results of analysis can be seen that the conditions of competitors in the Creative wood craft industry are quite high. The results of the SWOT analysis show the creative industry of wood crafts in Kuantan Singingi Regency has the potential to be developed. Based on IFAS and EFAS matrices, strength and opportunity scores are known to be greater than weaknesses and threats. From the results of the SWOT analysis diagram picture, shows how the creative effort of wood crafts in Kuantan Singingi Regency has a strategy in dealing with problems in external and internal environments.
