Analisis Morfometrik Dan Pola Pertumbuhan Ikan Juaro (Pangasius Polyuranodon) Di Perairan Sungai Kampar Dan Sungai Siak Provinsi Riau
Juaro fish (Pangasius polyuranodon) is a freshwater benthopelagic fish that is potamodromus. Juaro fish can be found in freshwater and can be found on the river banks. Freshwater which is a place to live juaro fish, one of which is the Kampar River and Siak River. Both of these rivers are large rivers in Riau Province but both waters have different water conditions. The waters of the Kampar River are still in accordance with the quality standards while the Siak River is currently under pressure due to the activities of the surrounding community. With the very poor physical condition of the Siak River, it is expected to affect the growth pattern of juaro fish and will have an impact on population decline. The purpose of this study was to analyze morphometric differences, relative growth and growth patterns of juaro fish in the waters of the Kampar River and Siak River in Riau Province. This research was conducted by survey method. The survey was conducted in the Siak river downstream and the Kampar river in the village of Lake Bingkuang. To collect fish samples done by taking the results of the catch of fishermen in the Siak River and Kampar River. How to measure morphometrics using the method of Chan (2001). The work procedures in honing otolith preparations according to Windarti and Simarmata (2013). Kampar River Fish is dominated by large size fish (170 - 360 mm TL) with a weight range of 41 - 474 gr b value of 3.00. While fish from the Siak River are dominated by small size fish ranging from 160 - 290 mm TL and weighing between 23-100 gr value of b 1.83. The long-weight relationship of juaro fish in the Kampar River is Isometric while from Siak River the Allometric is negative.Juaro fish from Kampar River has 6 Growth Patterns, namely Isometric, Positive Allometric, Negative Allometrics, Negative Allloemetry in Males and Positive Alloemetry in Females, Isometric in Males and Negative Aloemetry in Females, Negative Allometrics in Males and Isometric in Males. Juaro fish from Siak River has 6 Growth Patterns, namely Isometric, Positive Allometric, Negative Allometric, Isometric in Male and Negative Alloemetrik in Female, Negative Aloemetric in Male and Isometric in Female, Positive Allometric in Male and Isometric in Female. There are 4 different morphometric characters in male and female fish from the Kampar River, namely in JSDSC, JSASC, TSD, PDSC. whereas in fish from the Siak River there are 7 different male and female morphometric characters, namely TBE, JSDSC, JSVSA, JSASC, PDSC, TSC and JSAFSC. In fish from the Kampar River size at maturity appears at a size of about 250 mm TL. Whereas in fish from Siak River size at maturity appears at a size of around 190 mm TL.
